Project Guidelines

At the moment, we’re currently working remotely which means communication is primarily made via email, telephone and Zoom. Where physical meetings are required, these typically take place at our offices in central Newcastle, although we’re able to travel to your premises if agreed beforehand.

Initial concept & demo

Before we begin work on your new website, we ask that you list your requirements. This can range from how many pages you require, whether you have a chosen colour scheme in mind to whether or not you require ecommerce functionality and whether there are any existing websites you particularly like the look and feel of.

Combined with our own research and feedback into your target market, we will use this information to produce an initial working demo of your website which usually consists of three example pages.

At this stage it’s important to provide as much feedback on the initial working demo as possible as this will help shape the design of any subsequent work.

Once the initial working demo has been signed-off and feedback received, we will begin work on the rest of your website, including any ecommerce development. Using our private client portal, you will be able to review the progress of your web build.

If you are providing your own written content for your website, we require this to be sent to us in a single document. We also require any images to be sent to us at the same time. We will proofread your written content and amend if necessary. Should you require original copy, our professional copywriting service is available for an additional fee.

Final approval

Once content has been added, we will send you a link for you to carry out your final review of the website. At this stage it’s important to let us know if you require any amendments as any updates and changes after this stage will be subject to our hourly consultancy and design fees.

Website launch

Once we’ve made any final amendments, it’s time for your website to go live! At this stage, we will SEO optimise your website and submit a sitemap to leading search engines, including Google. Once the remainder of the balance is paid, we will hand over full rights to the website and issue you with website logins giving you full control over your new website.

WordPress training

On completion of your website, we will provide you with comprehensive written and visual instructions on how to use the WordPress content management system (CMS) which powers your website, including how to add and edit blog posts, pages and products. If you require face-to-face training we are able to provide this for an additional fee.
